Job Description

Omni Hotels is seeking an experienced Director of Rooms
for the new Omni Nashville Hotel scheduled to open Fall
2013. This 800 room hotel conveniently located in
downtown Nashville, across from the Music City Center.
Seamlessly integrated with an expanded Country Music
Hall of Fame and Museum. The current design includes
over 80,000 square feet of meeting space, several
restaurants, lounges and a signature spa.


The Director of Rooms will be responsible for the
performance of the Room Division which covers Front
Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering and R&M Operation
responsible for the quality and efficiency of
Housekeeping and R&M functions as related to cleanliness
of all guest areas, payroll and supply control in
accordance with budget and varying levels of business,
excellence in appearance of all public areas and
physical property, provides assistance in developing
annual budget and preparation of actions plans,
participates in weekly forecasting and scheduling; daily
reviews and operating results and takes immediate
corrective action if required. Maintains high visibility
with associates and guests.

Job Requirements

-Bachelors Degree or equivalent

-Previous experience in all aspects of the rooms
division in similar size and quality property.

-Five years or more in a four or five diamond property.

-Strong Leadership skills..

-Detail-oriented, organized, and excellent communication
skills

-Able to work closely and communicate with all
associates, departments, guests, and clients in a
professional manner.

-Must be Guest Service oriented.
