Job Description

The EVS attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of all casino gaming areas, public spaces and back of the house areas excluding kitchen areas. Provide a safe and orderly environment for both guest and Team Members. Ensure clean, organized and attractive conditions for guests performing the following duties, and work closely with the EVS department Manager, Lead supervisor and Supervisor on duty. 

Job Requirements

* Must be able to speak local language and communicate easily
* Must have excellent interpersonal skills
* Must have excellent organizational skills
* Strong guest service skills
* Knowledgeable of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
* Empty trash bins and pick up loose papers from floors, sinks, counter tops, floors
* Remove all trash to exterior trash points
* Remove snow for trash run
* Replace toilet tissue and refill paper towel dispensers
* Replace toilet tissue and refill paper towel dispensers
* Clean and polish furniture, marble, brass, floor plates
* Clean brass, lighting, walls and carpeting
* Clean and dust all lighting and lampshades
* Vacuum flooring, clean windows, clean window ledges, sanitizes all areas
* Respond to reasonable guest requests or place guest in contact with appropriate person
* Maintain AAA Four Diamond requirements and standards
* Adhere to standards and operating procedures as outlined in the Ameristar EVS Manual
* Be familiar with and ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals
* Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self.
