JOB DESCRIPTION
*Assist Revenue Manager with all tentative and definite paperwork for groups;
*Correspond in writing to guests if necessary;
*Assist in preparation of forecasts and Group Commitment report;
*Review hotel information and availability.
*Perform all operational and administrative duties associated with reservations
*Research commission, no-show, cancellation, billing issues
*Handle travel agency checks and commission requests.
*Sends and emails confirmations
*Answers all reservations related incoming calls;
*Know all hotel emergency procedures
*Interact and communicate with other departments regarding reservations related issues
*Resolve customer complaints
*Perform other duties and projects as directed
*At the least one year of reservations experience
*Knowledge and experience with reservation related functions a must
*Previous supervisory experience preferred Detail oriented with good time management
*Knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
*Guest service and communication skills
*Flexibility, patience, empathy, integrity, fairness and professionalism required
*High school education a minimum, Bachelor's degree preferred
