The Director of Sales will oversee the hotel's sales efforts and the sales department staff. The Director of Sales will utilize standard company processes and procedures to effectively lead the sales team. The DOS will work with the sales team to nurture and develop client relationships and prospect for new business. Our current client base is extensive and touches on all market segments.
The Director of Sales will represent the hotel at various community, industry and civic functions. Candidates should have prior DOS experience or Sr Sales Manager ready for the next step. (Select service or full service hotel)
Requirements:
Previous hotel DOS experience is preferred - a minimum of two successful years in a hotel environment. The ability to effectively direct the work of others, mentor and develop managers, effectively implement and monitor sales action plans, and create strong client relationships is required.
