Pillar Hotels & Resorts Revenue Analyst


Scope:

Maximization of assigned hotels revenue and market share through strategically working with General Managers' in the management of guestroom inventory and product pricing. The Revenue Analyst will assist assigned hotels in developing and managing revenue/yield strategies encompassing all facets of pricing, demand analysts, yield management, market segmentation, business mix, selling strategies and tactics in accordance with Pillar Hotels and Resorts best practices. Recommend and implement appropriate revenue management strategies at each hotel. The primary goal of the Revenue Analyst is to drive overall revenue and market share at each hotel.


Primary Responsibilities:
* Maintenance of availability restrictions, rate programs, and selling strategies through manipulation of the system
* Analyze reports to make short term and long term pricing recommendations
Works with General Managers or Sales Managers in reviewing negotiated rates through the specific brand RFP process
Works with General Managers or Sales Managers with displacement analysis on contract business for their perspective areas.
* Coordinates enrollment, roll out, and statistics for all internal and brand transient marketing programs for assigned hotels.
* Controls inventory and availability of external booking sources for assigned hotels.
* (i.e. GDS and Third Party Internet companies)
* Has regular communication with hotels regarding markets, strategy and results.
* Analyzes market segment performance at each hotel to determine appropriate strategic actions by segment
* Analyzes demand and works with General Managers in determining effective yield strategies to optimize revenue
* Deliver reporting to Property General Managers of competitor's pricing in all avenues
* Ensures all Revenue Management data files are organized and maintained
* Provides reporting and available information to the General Managers/Sales Manager to assist in creating detailed forecasts
* Responsible for assisting in executing all Revenue Management Department Initiatives
* Assists in developing processes and procedures to standardize Revenue Management functions for all Pillar Hotels and Resorts managed properties
* Responsible for conducting specified training of Revenue Management standards as they are developed
* Responsible for tracking and measuring Special Events and demand generators for area of hotels

Internal: SrVP of Sales and Marketing, Corporate Director of Revenue Management, Area Directors of Operations, General Managers, Sales Managers
External: Third Party Market Managers Travel Agencies To promote hotel services & provide assistance. Competition: To stay informed of competitive strategies & business conditions.
