Massage Therapist On Call

Job Description: The massage therapist provides massage treatments and body therapies for clientele and consults with clients to determine what level of intensity or areas to target for service. They must maintain current clientele while continuing to build new clientele and ensure outstanding service through upholding spa flow of greeting the guest, consultation, treatment and closing. The massage therapist recommends products for home use and suggests other beneficial treatments offered in the spa. They begin and end all treatments on time. The massage therapist ensures work areas are clean and equipment is disinfected according to procedures and assesses contraindications of guest that may prevent service from taking place.
The massage therapist reports all guest complaints to team leader, ensures company policies and procedures outlined in employee manual are followed, keep current on all licensure and insurance, and create and maintains guest files according to procedures. Job Requirements: ľ High school graduate or equivalent.
ľ Current Massage License.
ľ Previous spa experience.
ľ Ability to communicate effectively.
