1. Knowledge of the Boca Raton Resort & Club, its
activities, hours of operation and facilities

2. Addressing all members by their name

3. Assist members and guests with towels, chairs,
umbrellas and sundials on beach and providing friendly,
personalized service.

4. Maintain and cleanliness of the beach and all
equipment throughout the day

5. Assist members and guests with all water sports
equipment

6. Explain safety, boundaries and proper procedures for
all water sports equipment

7. Maintain and organize the towel stand every day

8. Sweep and maintain cleanliness of all boardwalks

9. Rake by all weed lines and any seaweed along
shoreline

10. Rake in between sundials and along rope lines

11. Verify rental vouchers match equipment daily

12. Ensure all rental vouchers reach Cabana Office by 4
pm.

13. Assist members and guests with special requests,
wherever possible

14. Preset lounge chairs, umbrellas and sundials on
request

15. Pressure clean all beach furniture and umbrellas

16. Monitor tides to ensure safety and security of all
beach equipment

17. Responsible for cleanliness at end of the day,
return of all chairs, tables, lounge chairs to their
proper place, sweeping of boardwalks and picking up
trash, paper, cigarette butts, etc.

18. Keep all sundials in alignment and stack lounges
neatly

19. Have knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment

Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by
supervisors/managers

Able to work in direct sun, ability to work weekends and
holidays, must be able to lift approximately 75 lbs. And
work well with others. Must have good English skills and
be able to communicate effectively with people. Must be
able to sit, stand, stoop or bend for duration of shift
[at least (8) hours]
