Job Description
The Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas is a luxury 4-
Diamond full service hotel with 421 rooms and 31,000
square feet of meeting space. We are currently seeking a
Director of Rooms who will be responsible for the
overall function and management of the Rooms Division
Operation. Successful candidates will possess strong
leadership, communication, and organizational skills and
have demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a
team.
Quality and efficiency of Front Office operation, in
particular:
* Guest Services
* Reservation efficiency and maximum utilization of
guestroom space available
* Attainment of average rate as specified by budget
* Payroll control within budgeted limits and in
accordance with variance of occupancy levels
Responsible for the quality and efficiency of
Housekeeping and R&M function as related to: cleanliness
of all guest areas; payroll and supply control in
accordance with budget and varying levels of business;
excellence in appearance of all public areas and
physical property.
You will be expected to maintain and monitor all Omni
training programs within the rooms division, ensuring
quality and efficiency of all processes and
interactions. Assisting in sourcing and hiring process
for all rooms division candidates is an important
function of this position. You must have a thorough
understanding of hotel P&L, forecasting, budgeting,
scheduling, checkbook and inventory controls.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
* Prior Experience as a Director of Rooms at a Luxury
Hotel or Resort required.
* Front Office and Housekeeping experience required.
* Must have experience with 300+ room properties.
