Bartenders are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations. The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity and allows for building on ones style and previous bartending experiences. Preferred candidates will have understanding of state and local serving guidelines.
This position will serve the Cure Bar & Bistro.
Cure Bar & Bistro takes its name from the age-old tradition of curing foods and pairing beverages to create a taste profile. The process entails spicing, drying, salting and smoking to prepare the food and then matching it with a beverage that enhances the flavor. The seasonal menu includes items such as artisan cheese selections, pork pâté, roasted sausage with jam, flat iron steak and bread pudding. The wine, beer and spirit selections are extensive, offering a range of exceptional wines, international beers and unique cocktails. From socializing with friends while sharing light fare and drinks, to sitting down to a four course offering, guests are invited to create their own experience. An informative staff of servers and chefs can offer insight to inspire and stimulate your palate. Cure Bar & Bistro is warm, inviting and memorable. High ceilings, an open fireplace and walls clad in stone and red oak evoke the atmosphere of a rustic lodge in this spacious four level restaurant. Cure is open for Lunch and Dinner Monday through Friday and Dinner only on weekends.

* Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with local regulations.
* Must have prior bartending experience. Hotel experience, upscale restaurant experience is a preferred.
* Must be available to work daytime shifts, morning without restrictions on days. Schedule will vary week to week and will include holidays and some weekends.
* A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
* Refined verbal communication skills.
* Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
* Must have prior bartending experience. Hotel experience, upscale restaurant experience is a preferred.
