Job Description

A successful candidate will operate the day to day functions of a fine dining restaurant in a AAA Four Diamond Walt Disney World Resort while ensuring Cast and Guest satisfaction and exceeding financial targets. They will provide direction, coach, develop and lead Cast Members to provide excellent Guest and Cast Service as well as develop and nurture partnerships with other Lines of Business. Lastly, they will monitor and deliver a sophisticated Guest dining experience and ensure that all safety and sanitation levels are upheld in accordance with all State of Florida and Walt Disney World regulations.
Proven 2 years of leadership in a fine dining restaurant
Demonstrated knowledge of AAA Four and Five diamond standards
Demonstrated extensive wine and spirit knowledge
Knowledge of financial aspects of an operation (i.e. Operating Budget, Revenue, Labor, Food Cost, etc.)
Demonstrated passion for Guest service and Cast development
Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with conflict
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated strong organizational skills
Demonstrated strong networking skills
Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement
Adaptable to new technology and change
Proven organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
Demonstrated commitment to Cast Members
Demonstrated ability to manage the operation and teach it to Cast Members
Demonstrated ability to lead and monitor Cast performance and operational improvements
Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends, variable shifts, and holidays
Proven 2 years of leadership in a AAA four or five diamond rated restaurant
Sommelier certified
Proven ability to work in a unionized environment
Demonstrated bilingual skills
High School degree or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalentivalent
