Job Description

Pillar Hotels & Resorts

Scope:

Oversees recruiting efforts in multiple hotels, which includes full cycle recruiting, interview coordination, offer negotiation, on-boarding processes to ensure policy compliance and a positive hiring experience for future employees.


Primary Responsibilities:

Full cycle recruiting efforts to include sourcing, reviewing resumes, interviewing, background checks, references and on-boarding.

Facilitate the hiring of targeted professionals based on hiring goals in accordance with business plans.

Proactively identify, source, and recruit candidates utilizing a variety of sources including, but not limited to, Internet postings, direct sourcing, employee referrals, job fairs, research, print media, networking, agencies and database searching.

Conduct telephone and in-office interviews with selected candidates.

Build relationships with business partners in order to assess their needs and provide solutions.

Keep hiring managers informed of recruitment efforts and progress.

Negotiate offers for salaried candidates.

Devise and implement strategies to recruit a diverse population of employees.

Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and confidentiality.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience a recruitment professional with the ability to effectively use behavioral-based interviewing techniques.

Knowledgeable of employment law and hiring practices.

Proven track record of successfully meeting key performance metrics (time-to-fill ratios, interview-to-hire ratios, etc).

Ability to work well independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.


Physical/Cognitive Activities:

A majority of time will be spent with applicants and employees discussing employment opportunities, therefore a significant portion of time is spent speaking, listening, thinking, and writing.

Reading and writing abilities are often used when communicating with the candidates, hiring managers and hotel outlets, as well as to document any information that will assist in making hiring decisions, etc.

A significant amount of time is spent reviewing resumes and documents on a laptop/desktop computer with keyboard and requires extensive time on a phone with headset capabilities so it will require the employee to frequently stand, walk and sit.
