Job Description

Position Summary:
To assist the Beverage Manager in overseeing the Beverage department.
Essential Functions:
* Assist in hiring and training of bar personnel
* Job Tasks must be finished in a timely manner according to department standards
* Carries out all policies and procedures of Ameristar Casino Kansas City and/or the Food & Beverage Department
* Understand and demonstrate Management’s point of view
* Assist in controlling labor cost
* Responsible for cleanliness of all beverage areas
* Keep accurate reports on product inventories
* May be required to assist with related duties at other affiliate properties at Management’s discretion
* Responsible for inputting daily menu items sold data into the computer
* Responsible for administering corrective counseling when necessary
Job Requirements
* Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
* Able to lift 50 pounds.
* Able to read and write English sufficiently to communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
* Ability to work any schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
* Exceptional leadership ability
* Ability to handle complicated scheduling for a large department
* Supervisory experience required
* College degree preferred
