Job Description
Basic Function: The Spa Attendant greets clients and
introduces the Spa facilities and program components to
individuals and groups. Furthermore, the attendant
monitors theSpa and fitness room for cleanliness,
safety, and provides direction or instruction when
appropriate, observing all policies and procedures of
the Resort and the Spa as outlined in the Associate
Handbook.
Essential Functions:
* Greeting clients as they enter the Spa.
* Providing clients with tours and information related
to the Spa and its features.
* Assisting clients and guests with proper equipment
usage.
* Answering the telephone identifying yourself, your
department, and offering assistance.
* Taking appointments either by phone or in person and
recording the transactions in the appropriate area.
* Following daily checklist as detailed on Spa's
whiteboard.
* Maintaining a well-groomed, professional appearance,
which includes wearing a clean and well-kept
uniform, and name tag.
* Reporting any accidents or injuries to the Security
Department.
* Keeping the men's' Spas and Fitness Center clean,
orderly, and well stocked with necessary items.
Additional Functions:
* Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by
Supervisor or Manager.
* Assist in other departments as needed.
* Attend monthly departmental meetings
Work Environment: Indoors in a climate-controlled
environment. Job involves constant standing, walking,
and bending. Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or Equivalent.
* CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
* Computer knowledge.
* Pleasant, friendly demeanor.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively in the English
language.
* Ability to transport, handle and/or lift 50 lbs.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule as assigned by
management.
