Description:


As General Manager, you will create and maintain customer-driven operations with a vision that inspires hotel associates to do their best. You will oversee the quality process to ensure guest satisfaction by consistent delivery of both product quality and service to achieve the hotel's financial objectives. This position requires experience in all phases of hotel management, including sales and marketing, human resources, food and beverage, budget/forecast management, rooms, housekeeping and maintenance.

Ideal candidate will be current local Los Angeles area, full service Hotel General Manager who is a hands on operator that has experience in managing extensive renovations and re-branding as well as being skilled in revenue management. Bi-lingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) candidates are highly desirable.











Located in Los Angeles' financial district, The LA Hotel Downtown is linked to downtown Los Angeles businesses via a second-floor walkway, and is 1 mile from LA Live, NOKIA Theatre, and Staples Center. The LA Hotel Downtown is located in Los Angeles, close to World Trade Center Los Angeles, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and University of Southern California. Nearby points of interest also include Nokia Theater and Staples Center.

469 air conditioned guestrooms at The LA Hotel Downtown feature coffee/tea makers and safes. Beds come with premium bedding. Bathrooms feature bathrobes, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers. Wireless Internet access is available for a surcharge. 40 inch flat panel televisions have cable channels and pay movies. Rooms also include irons/ironing boards and clock radios.
