Our Turndown Attendants play an essential role in providing turndown service for our distinguished guests and help create a memorable stay. Flexibility of schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays required. Prior hospitality experience strongly preferred. Strong English speaking skills are necessary due to the high guest visibility of this position. Provide turndown service for guests. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AVERAGE % OF TIME 50% Provide turndown service to required guest rooms in accordance with established standards. 15% Clean remaining unmade rooms per standards as directed. May be required to refresh others and/or replenish supplies. 15% Serve as runner to guest rooms to deliver items as requested by the guests. Assist in cart replenishing. 10% Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean, organized and safe condition. Answer Housekeeping phones. 5% Report any service discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor and resolve where possible. 5% Report any safety or security discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor. Other: Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required. Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Starwood rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel's facilities.
