GENERAL PURPOSE
Responsible for addressing guest and front office issues. Assists with check-in/-out. Oversees the operations of the hotel amenities, pool or spa operations, and provide assistance to guests as needed. Perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Guest Relations Supervisor (GRS) will also patrol the hotel property to observe customers, guest and employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The qualified person chosen for this position will be responsible for responding to, investigating and reporting emergency and non emergency incidents or accidents that occur on hotel property.
Daily reports are required; strong writing skills and the ability to exhibit proper spelling and English grammar is a must.
A GRS may confront people who are damaging or stealing company property and will work with security personnel to detain them; notifying local law enforcement if necessary. If a disorderly person is disrupting the hotel, the Guest Relations Supervisor is expected to handle the situation appropriately.
A GRS is expected to be an ethical individual who can maintain confidentiality.
Because you will confront multiple customers and guests, a GRS needs to perform well under stress. As a representative of the company, a GRS is expected to be well-groomed and maintain a professional appearance.
A willingness to work evening hours, overtime & weekends is important.
Candidates will possess:
2 years experience in hotel industry
Excellent customer service skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to multi task
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
