p>The Bistro Server will have the opportunity to demonstrate a guest-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment and to respond quickly to guest needs. Experience working hands on in a restaurant or coffee shop and connecting with guests is key. Some of the primary functions include: completing opening and closing duties, setting up, stocking and maintaining work areas, taking orders from guests, inputing orders into micros, obtaining payment and providing change. Communicating additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen. Preparing food, coffee and other beverages including alcohol. Preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and food preparation checklist and maintaining an exceptional level of cleanliness and professionalism. p>The ideal Bistro Server will present the following: * Six months restaurant/server experience * Must have or be willing to obtain a Bartender-Server License * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ensure the highest standards of service in attaining guest satisfaction and profitability * Demonstrate a team player attitude to ensure a smooth hotel operation * Positive attitude, outgoing and friendly We are looking for a team of A Players.
