Job Description

Begin a rewarding career with Omni Hotels & Resorts! The
Omni Charlotte is currently seeking an energetic,
service oriented On-Call Banquet Server to assist with
high volume banquet business as needed.

Responsibilities include:
*Knowledge of fine dining service
*Performing all Banquet sidework as designated by the
Banquet Captain & Manager
*Efficiently and properly performing all service
standards
*Attending to all needs of the guests during functions
and completing function related duties
*Knowledge of and adhering to all liquor liability laws
*Completing any other tasks as assigned by the Banquet
Captain & Manager
*Being pleasant, smiling and greeting all guests, using
surnames when obtained
*Creating memorable, WOW experiences for each and every
guest

Job Requirements

Candidates must:

*Have previous serving and guest service experience,
banquet and hotel experience is preferred.
*Have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment,
follow through on guest requests, ensure guest
satisfaction, and work as a team player.
*Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
*Have the ability to stand and/or walk for long periods
of time and lift/carry/push/pull up to 40 pounds.
*Have a flexible schedule, including the ability to work
weekend and holidays.
*Have a unexpired TIPS certification.
