JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports to VP of Food & Beverage
* Monitor the day-to-day operation of all F&B outlets company wide.
* Create & audit brand standards to ensure uniform excellence of execution.
* Develop, implement, and monitor operational infrastructure & cost controls.
* Develop custom training programs based around F&B & MHG culture and tailored to concept, markets, timelines, and finances.
* Regularly visit all properties to reinforce culture and monitor the implementation of initiatives and performance of outlets.
* Manage development critical paths for all new F&B projects from concept approval to property hand-off.
* Ability to manage budgets for development projects and meet deadlines
* Assist properties in sourcing, interviewing, hiring, training, & mentoring talent.
* Manage, analyze, and monitor outlets financial performance to achieve budgeted revenues and profitability.
* Identify and remedy cost overruns and abnormalities before they impact performance in our F&B outlets.
* Work with property teams to create realistic and attainable annual budgets and accurate forecasts for all F&B outlets.
* Assist in the creation and implementation of market leading food & beverage programs that are impactful, relevant, and manageable.
* Manage strategic partnerships with vendors to maximize benefit for MHG.
* Generate forecasted performance pro-formas for projects & project pitches based on market specific information.
* Monitor & assist with capital projects for all restaurants.
* Gain respect and traction within the corporate and property structure to ensure a positive work environment.
* Maintain knowledge on F&B trends and be able to translate them into realistic business initiatives that drive revenue and profits.
* Entrepreneurial thinking and experience are a plus. Work in real time in a highly dynamic environment where schedules are regularly changing and new projects are regularly coming on board.
* Knowledge of operations related to the catering business.
* A true passion for the world of food, beverage, nightlife, and hospitality is a requirement.
* The desire to create and experience the newest and most exciting projects in the food & beverage business.
- Applicant must be ok with travelling regularly, 2-3 times monthly
- Preferred experience within high-end restaurant company and/or boutique hotel segment
- Must have a keen understanding of the MHG brand and identify with its concepts
