Job Description

The Omni Dallas Convention Center Hotel is seeking a
Culinary Supervisor to join our award winning Owner's
Box team.

Essential Functions:

¨ Controls quality and consistency of all food served.

¨ Creates and adjusts work schedule according to work
loads and occupancy.

¨ Orders and receives the ingredients

¨ Conducts departmental line-ups on a regular basis

¨ Maintains cleanliness of all food prep and production
areas.

¨ Conducts a month end inventory of all pastry products

¨ Ensures station is set 15 minutes prior to service.

¨ Ensures all food supplies necessary for service are in
appropriate supply on a timely basis.

¨ Assists in controlling food cost.

¨ Responsible for all baked goods, rolls, danish, bread,
etc.

¨ Assists in producing and plating Banquet pastries.

¨ Proper storage for advanced production.

¨ Files Pastry cart orders when necessary.

¨ Reports any maintenance or security problems.

Job Requirements

* Able to work weekends and holidays
* Able to ensure efficient, effective operation of the
pastry and food production outlets.
* Ability to satisfactorily communicate (verbal and
written) in English with vendors, co-workers and
management.
* Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions,
short correspondence, and memos.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry
out detailed written or oral instructions.
* Ability to write and perform daily prep list and par
sheets.
* Ability to meet quality and performance standards.
* Ability to update and maintain inventory.
