Job Description

The Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza is
seeking an individual to join our dynamic award winning
leadership team as Director of Rooms. Our 4-diamond
hotel has continually led in the downtown Los Angeles
market by delivering exceptional financial results
through an empowered customer service staff second to
none. The Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza
consistently ranks in the top 5 hotels out of 301 hotels
in Los Angeles with TripAdvisor.com, and #1 for downtown
Los Angeles hotels. In 2012, Omni Hotels & Resorts
ranked #1 in the Upper-Upscale category of J.D. Powers
and Associates' annual study for guest satisfaction,
winning this prestigious award for the fifth time.

The Director of Rooms will be responsible for the
performance of the Rooms Division which covers Front
Office (includes Guest Services, Ideal Services, and
Bell/Door Staff), Housekeeping, Valet Parking, and
Security teams. Manages Rooms Department budgets and
productivity. Supervises strategic plan development,
implementation, and successful completion of associate
and guest satisfaction initiatives. The ideal candidate
must be passionate about the business of satisfaction
including leading the daily maintenance and measurement
of success - our Omni Service Champion! The Director of
Rooms is the keeper of the brand standards and
responsible for effectively introducing and rolling out
new brand initiatives. Manages the club lounge staff,
offerings, and associate and guest satisfaction. Must
possess a strong desire to mentor new leaders in our
hotel and company.

Job Requirements

* Rooms Division leadership in a smaller or same size
hotel of 2 to 3 years

* Demonstrate proven success with guest satisfaction
in brand performance

* Able to multi-task efficiently

* Dynamic, enthusiastic, authentic personality

* Strong analytical skills

* Strong problem solving skills

* Proficient in technology - Epitome, Delphi, Kronos,
Birchstreet - all a plus

* College degree preferred
