Job Description

Strip, seal and scrub hard floors. Clean, extract and bonnet buff carpeted areas.
Vacuum and buff carpets daily. Extract or shampoo carpets on a scheduled basis. Clean all brass. Assist regular shift team members in maintaining restrooms and casino floor. Operates extractor equipment, floor scrubbers, shampoo machines and polishing machines as well as special vacuum cleaners and scrubbers. Carries out heavy duty detail cleaning of restrooms and locker rooms.move office furnishings and items as directed. Responsible for cleaning ceilings utilizing scaffolding and ladders.Responsible for grounds keeping, including seasonal plan changes.Cleans interior and exterior windows above 6 feet off of the ground as directed. Maintains accurate records of chemical issuance and receipt. Maintain logs for equipment usage. Assist with inventory of all stockroom items received from the warehouse to assure proper quantities and quality. Delivers supplies to vessel. Responsible for the cleaning of all housekeeping equipment. Maintains chemical inventory and identifies damaged bottles and/or drums for replacement. Is not required to perform maintenance on equipment. 

Job Requirements

Knowledge of floor cleaning equipment. General knowledge of chemicals, shampoos, strippers, and wax. Ability to work on elevated surfaces via the use of scaffolding and ladders.must be able to work with a variety of chemicals.Must have the ability to lift/move at least 100 pounds and posses the mobility and dexterity required to meet the demands incumbent ti this position. Ability to stand/walk 1000% of shift.Must be able to work within a smoke-filled environment. Ability to sustain a high level of professionalism. Ability to maintain a high level of energy. Ability to remain highly organized and demonstrate sharp attention to detail. Demonstrate effective communication with guests as well as team members. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to abide by the company appearance standards and compliance with the designated uniform. Must be able to obtain and maintain an Indiana Gaming Commission Level 3 Gaming License.
