Landry’s, Inc. is searching for HIGH END/FINE DINING, experienced General Managers and Assistant General Managers in the Detroit market. POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for and dedicated to ensuring customer service commitments, standards/expectations, and financial goals.
  • Maintains restaurant at the level necessary to meet and/or exceed the company standards for quality, service and cleanliness.
  • Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding budgeted labor costs.
  • Ensure all employees are performing their job responsibilities and meeting expectations in all areas of their job description.
  • Must have a positive and committed “Do Whatever It Takes” attitude.

 

Landry's, Inc is one of the largest full-service restaurant operators in the United States with over 480 locations in 40 states and 15 countries.  We operate restaurants primarily under the names of Rainforest Cafe, Saltgrass Steakhouse, Morton's - The Steakhouse, McCormick & Schmick's, Landry's Seafood, The Chart House, Oceanaire, Bubba Gump, and Claim Jumper, plus our upscale signature group of restaurants which includes Vic & Anthony's.  We are also engaged in the ownership and operation of select hospitality/entertainment businesses and casinos including The Golden Nugget casinos, The Kemah Boardwalk, and the Historic Galveston Island Pleasure Pier.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must show proven tenure in the industry with at least 2+ years of successfully managing at the General Manger level in medium to high volume HIGH-END/FINE DINING establishment.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills, be detailed oriented, and able to communicate effectively.
  • Working knowledge of P&L's with a strong grasp of cost controls.
  • The qualified candidate must be able to develop and build teams..
  •  Stable tenure with previous employers a must.
