The Company operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting and ending times, and hours worked in a week. 

Under direction, maintains and repairs all building and physical support systems. Works independently or with others to achieve satisfactory results.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED

This list is not comprehensive, but indicates duties and responsibilities which may be redefined pursuant to operational needs:

• Completes daily work assignments with quality and in a timely manner. 
• Interacts with other departments to assist with set-up and special requests.
• Participates in the QA guestroom preventative maintenance program.
• Makes sure all lighting is operational and in good working order. 
• Alternates duties as Shift and Tower Engineer.
• Performs all other duties as required.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

• Work is performed under the general supervision of the Engineering Supervisor, as well as, Director of Engineering
• Must maintain a good working relationship with other departments, employees, and guests.
• Interfaces daily with the public.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Standing for long hours.
• Lifting up to 50 lb.
• Repetitive bending, stooping, lifting, climbing and walking.
• Works indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures on occasion.

One year of previous experience required. Must be mechanically inclined with some ability to paint, caulk and repair sheetrock. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.  Must possess the ability to interact effectively with the public and other team members on a continuous basis. Must be able to meet or exceed productivity standards for the position and follow all appropriate policies and procedures. Must possess fundamental reading, writing and arithmetic skills. Must have good communication skills. Must have a valid drivers license.  Must possess excellent organizational skills and effectively manage time. Excellent work history and attendance record required. Must be flexible in his/her hours and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.  Must display a positive, pro-active attitude.
