Works independently to seek out new transient corporate and leisure accounts for hotel room sales. Uses a high degree of negotiation skills to close business.
Works closely with the Revenue Management Team to ensure proper procedures are met in regards to PEPRS & VIP amenity forms and reservations.
The Sales Manager uses a wide range of discretion to actively solicit new accounts for future transient business, and follows up on all leads within 24 hours. Additionally, this manager will implement action and chronological steps as outlined in the Market Plan to achieve PEPRS revenue and average rate goals. In a liaison role, the Sales Manager will maintain relationships with existing accounts, coordinate and handle new inquiries, and have current knowledge of local networks including competition on local and national fronts.
The Sales Manager will analyze and report on the integrity of historical and current data. On a quarterly basis, The Sales Manager will review account summaries and future potential business with the VP of Sales and Marketing and Regional Director of Revenue Management. The Sales Manager will decide on new modifications necessary to keep the PEPRS program competitive in its marketplace.
