We are currently searching for a dynamic Director of Sales and Marketing for our beautiful Westin Imagine Orlando hotel located directly across the street from the Orlando Convention Center in sunny Orlando, FL. Our beautiful hotel boasts 315 guestrooms and suites and over 7,000 square feet of meeting space! Soon to be added is another 5,000 square foot luxury ballroom for catered events and meetings!
The ideal candidate will lead and manage the Sales and Marketing team ensuring a high level of professionalism, guest service and profitability. Develop business leads, solicit potential clients, service existing accounts, sell all hotel facilities, target business in assigned market segment and meet and exceed sales goals for rate, occupancy and revenue. Our Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for attaining budgeted revenues for the Hotel; responsible for all marketing related activity, including internet marketing, advertising, public relations, social media and e commerce. She/he will work with the Sales and Catering Team to ensure revenue goals are met. She/he will consistently perform our standards of service, interact with guests, clients and all hotel team members in a professional manner and have a "Yes I Can" attitude.
Job Requirements
A minimum of 5 years hotel Sales and Marketing experience. Must be able to demonstrate strong understanding of working in a market driven by conventions and leisure markets. Knowledge of amusement parks and city wide activity and how it impacts hotel highly desired.
Delphi and Excel experience preferred.
Market and Brand experience a plus.
4 year college degree required preferably in Hospitality/Tourism
