Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Account Manager designs, establishes, and oversees the integrated logistics and processes to support VisTaTech Center events; additionally responsible for customer relations.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in appropriate area or equivalent certification.
2. Three years appropriate experience in a related field; knowledge and understanding of meeting and event planning principles, requirements, procedures and available resources.
3. Supervisory experience.
4. Possess organizational skills, attention to detail, and integrity-driven leadership.
5. Knowledge of marketing strategies, processes, and available resources.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
7. Ability to work independently and within a team, multitask and be flexible within the work environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Recommends methods and procedures to enhance operations as it relates to technology, equipment, food service, logistics, and other related issues.
2. Prepares contracts for external clients (and internal as necessary) to determine conference requirements.
3. Creates and maintains business relationships with external stakeholders to enhance the utilization of VisTaTech.
4. Participates in professional organizations for staff development.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.
