CULINAIRE, a dynamic, privately-owned food and beverage management corporation headquartered in Dallas is seeking an professional and highly creative Executive Chef for the prestigious new George W. Bush Presidential Center opening Spring 2013. CULINAIRE provides upscale food and beverage management services to a diverse collection of accounts including cultural art centers, hotels, restaurants and special event venues. We add value to our clients' enterprises by maintaining a distinctively high level of quality in our cuisine and service.
As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of managing the food production for banquets and catered events as well as the restaurant open daily for lunch. With 15,000 sq. ft. of function space and a state of the art auditorium, the George W. Bush Presidential Center will be a highly sought after location for corporate and social events.
What We're Looking For:
- Creative and innovative culinary skills
- Strong experience in catering and banquets
- Good safety and sanitation habits
- Thorough knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Experience with inventory and cost controls
- Demonstrated a consistent career progression and be able to provide excellent, supportive references
- Culinary degree from accredited culinary school
- Computer skills with ability to utilize Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- At least 3 years experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef from a luxury hotel, country club or catering venue
