General Manager

We are currently seeking a dynamic General Manager to develop and lead a team at our new Home 2 Suites Philadelphia Hotel which is scheduled to in July 2013. The brand new Home 2 Suites features 248 suites and is located in Center City Philadelphia directly across from the Pennsylvania Convention Center.  If you are searching for a great hotel with great people, this is the right place for you!

Job Description:

• Oversee the entire operation of hotel
• Ability to budget and forecast revenues
•  Training of managers on hotel standards, profit and loss and customer service
•  Manages all special projects to ensure time lines and budgets are met
•  Provide leadership to the department heads to ensure goals are met
•  Hold weekly staff meetings
•  Oversee all aspects of guest interactions and experiences
•  Communicate and negotiate with all outside vendors
•  Communicate with ownership
   

• 5 years General Manager experience with Hilton background preferred
• Center City Philadelphia candidates are preferred
•  Excellent written and verbal communications skills required  
• Previous opening experience preferred
•  Proven track record in developing high performing teams
•  Must be detailed and have excellent follow through
•  Ability to quickly evaluate alternative and decide on a plan of action
• Track record of employment stability
•  Bachelors degree preferred  
•  Excellent business communication and organization skills
•  Attention to detail
•  Dynamic Work Ethic
