Catering Sales Manager

The beautiful, recently renovated, Sheraton Suites in Old Town Alexandria is currently seeking experienced candidates for our Catering Sales Manager position. This quaint 240 room all-suite hotel is situated at the far end of Old Town Alexandria making it a convenient destination for all travelers.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* SELL, SELL, SELL

* Primary focus on finding and servicing social catering groups and meetings business

* Detail and service the catering aspects of other sales groups

* Actively participate in sales presentations, property tours and customer meetings.

* Attend daily business review meetings, weekly strategic sales meetings, management meetings and other meetings as required/ requested.

Candidates for this position should have excellent training, leadership, and guidance skills. The ability to work as a team is a must.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education
Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience
Sales and Marketing experience in similar sized operation preferred. Catering Sales experience a plus.

Licenses or Certificates
Not applicable.

Grooming
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per standards.

Other
Bilingual or multilingual ability preferred.
