We are searching for a dynamic people person able to effectively multi-task and assist the F& B Director and Outlet Manager in all managerial and supervisory details in In-Room Dining, Decoy Lounge, Splash Bar and Restaurant. Assist in the development and implementation of a hands on, effective training program. Aimed at giving employees the motivation and knowledge to perform all assigned duties and task associated with the restaurant and bar and a person who serves as the captain of hospitality with goals like providing exceptional customer service and ensures each guest is greeted, cared for and served in a gracious and attentive manner.



Conduct daily line-ups with staff to insure proper presentation, menu knowledge and sequence or service are adhered to at all times. Ability to develop, train and manage service staff in accordance with standards set forth. Manage and monitor the daily activity of Tula Restaurant and other outlets to delegate appropriate duties to service personnel. Ensure proper cash handling practices are followed in line with established corporate policies. Maximize all sales opportunities and ensure full knowledge of all food and beverage promotions. Monitor department revenue and cost controls. Maintain proper labor, food and beverage costs to insure profits for the F&B department. Maintain and monitor comment cards for Tulas. Assist with scheduling, grooming standards and maintain a positive leadership role in the department. Assist with conducting department meetings on a regular basis. Read, understand and follow all policies, procedures and practices as stated in the Associate Handbook. Ensure staff is well trained in food and beverage safety and pass all required inspections. Attend hotel staff meetings and other scheduled meetings for F&B staff.

Qualifications:
Five years management experience in a restaurant environment. Strong understanding of food service standards and controls as they relate to a restaurant operation. Passion for and understanding of service excellence.
Strong computer skills, especially as they related to POS systems.
Required to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to deal with a diverse group of people, handle conflict and resolve issues at hand. Must be able to communicate accurately and effectively in verbal and written form. Flexible in working weekends, holidays and other special events at the hotel. Able to work 10 hour shifts.
