The Hampton Inn & Suites-Baton Rouge Downtown will be an unusually upscale 6-story hotel of brick, stone and masonry construction.  Opening in Spring 2013, the 137-key hotel will feature many unique amenities for the Hampton brand. Every room and suite will be designer decorated, featuring 37” and 42” HDTV’s respectively with free high speed Wi-Fi throughout. Public space flows on the first floor with lobby registration and open business center.  Breakfast promenade and 3 meeting rooms on the ground floor as well. *    Minimum 2 years in a hotel management position.                                   

*    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

*    Must be extremely hands-on

*    Strong training and supervision skills.

*    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*    Decision making; the ability to identify problems, generate and   analyze alternative solutions
