Job Description

Global Account Director- China market and Western BTS

This position will be responsible for developing the Asia Pacific market for a portfolio of 14 USA based hotels and to manage and build the corporate transient segment accounts for corporation headquartered in California and the Pacific Northwest to sell our entire portfolio of hotels globally.

Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

- Develop and increase the Asia/Pacific business inbound to the US via Receptive operators and the corporate transient market.

- Manage and build on existing portfolio of corporate transient accounts assigned within your market base.

- Manage, source, recommend and attend applicable trade shows to build market segment.

- Establish and maintain relationships with key travel partners to support revenue growth and foster product knowledge.

- Create, develop and maximize global hotel portfolio exposure via key sales and marketing initiatives in tandem with VP of Sales.

- Organize, manage, document and attend sales calls, presentations, client event, fam trips and road shows along with post trip/call reconciliation.

- Entertain local clients and conduct site inspections within market segment.

- Utilize and maintain applicable databases as per company requirements.

- Communicate with hotels on a regular basis and assist them in meeting their business needs. Establish market initiatives for your segment and in tandem with hotel needs.

- Manage and maintain revenue tracking in relation to revenue goals.

- Manage and maintain guest satisfaction expectations.

- Expand client base within segment based upon market trends. Keep current on growing industries, trends and new companies moving into geographic territory.

- Attend industry events and applicable professional sales organizations

Job Requirements

Requirements:

- A minimum of 4 years experience in a management capacity

- Fluent/conversant in Mandarin

- Experienced in the Corporate transient segment

- Proficient in Delphi, Nexus, Excel, Opera

- Position based in LA or West Coast with previous experience in the California market a plus

- Extensive travel required (approximately 40%, at times may include extensive international)
