The DoubleTree by Hilton Santa Ana/OC Airport is seeking a Facilities Manager to guide and direct the operations of the Housekeeping, Laundry and Engineering departments to ensure that services and cleanliness standards are commensurate with the guests’ expectations and established performance standards while achieving the established financial goals of the department and property.

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the Housekeeping, Laundry and Engineering Departments necessary to maintain the hotel to the highest standards, with 24 hour coverage of all systems directly or indirectly.  Responsibilities will include leading and motivating teams; contributing to profitability of the hotel by working within budget and controlling costs, expenses and labor;  managing daily work flow; overseeing risk management, preventative maintenance, and safety programs; and being the liaison for internal/external communication and providing a positive work environment.

       

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ideal candidate will have:

 

A minimum of 5 years Hotel supervisory/management experience in housekeeping department required

Previous engineering experience preferred

Knowledgeable in engineering functions and department
Bi-lingual - Spanish

Material and Safety Data Sheet Knowledge

OSHA Training on Blood Borne Pathogens

Strong leadership skills

Excellent communication skills
