Job Details
- Assist in scheduling and room cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
- Assist with training of employees and ensuring that they have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties.
- Inspect all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishing, guest rooms/suites, equipment, linens, and public areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction.
- Routinely perform all housekeeping duties necessary including making beds, and vacuuming and cleaning suites to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
- Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in housekeeping preferred
- Minimum of 6 months in a supervisory role preferred
