The Island Hotel in Newport Beach is seeking an experienced Hotel Senior Sales Manager.
- Ability to make telephone and personal sales calls on accounts in assigned market areas.
- Ability to travel and solicit corporate and association business in a particular territory in various market segments.
- Ability to negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit while satisfying clients needs.
- Ability to coordinate with other department heads to ensure quality of guests/group satisfaction.
- Ability to interface with customers when they are on property to promote good will and foster additional business and repeat bookings.
- Ability to follow up on the progress and status of booked business.
Desired Skills & Experience
Extensive successful track record of Hotel Sales experience required
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of Delphi is preferred.
