Spa Supervisor

XpresSpa is seeking a Spa Supervisor who is also a Licensed Cosmetologist or Massage Therapist to manage our luxury spa at the New York-JFK International Airport!

XpresSpa Supervisors lead our employees in creating and maintaining the XpresSpa experience for our customers while assisting in the overall management of the spa. The supervisor provides exceptional service to our customers while coaching our employees to do the same.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (The following outlines the responsibilities but not limited to):

• Set a professional example for employees
• Display a "customer comes first" attitude by coaching and holding employees accountable for delivering exceptional customer service
• Motivate and lead by example ensuring our customers receive the best service
• Provide employees with coaching and feedback when necessary
• Ensure all company policies and spa protocols are adhered to in a safe and positive work

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Must have 5+ years of experience as a NY State Licensed Cosmetologist, Massage Therapist or Nail Tech
• Provide spa services to clients under license
• Supervise employees while providing spa services
• Must possess excellent communication (both verbal and written)
• Leadership skills
• Strong problem solving and operational skills
• Microsoft Office and P.O.S. proficiency
• Prior supervisory related experience
