Sales Manager

The purpose of this position is to assist in the selling and marketing of the hotel property.
This position will be the key contact for the hotels corporate accounts and VIP's, ensuring meeting and exceeding all expectations for the stay are met. The Sales Manager will liaison with other departments to ensure that all amenities, preferences and services are delivered to the hotels most important guests. The Sales Manager will be highly relationship focused, exude great energy and always maintain a positive "can do" attitude with the Mr. C Guests.
The Sales Manager position is responsible for the contributing to the efforts of a productive direct sale through finding new business, effectively closing and leading by example to achieve individual and hotel revenue goal.
Conducts direct selling activities in accordance with assigned sales activity and room night production goals
Knowledgeable of and practices effective telemarketing and outside call skills such as proper phone technique, lead referrals, hotel information
Conduct onsite tours - Knowledge of property and amenities a must
Skilled in making sales calls. Can properly qualify prospects, determine demand potential, present features/benefits that match prospect needs can gain next step commitment or closing
Maintain and build relationships with existing accounts, while aggressively developing new business
Maintain professional demeanor in stressful, high pressure situations while continuing to maintain a 5 star experience to our members
The ability to travel for business related sales calls and trade shows
Attend weekly sales meetings
Attend Monthly Mixers for chamber
