The Renaissance and Spa at Patriot Place is seeking a dynamic Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join their team. Job Requirements:

  • Select, train, supervise, develop, discipline and counsel associates. Schedule staff according to business levels.
  • Great service background with strong knowledge of Food and beverage service delivery.
  • F&B knowledge is updated and on trend to meet current expectations of todays customer.
  • Ability to process payroll and monitor labor cost
  • Process invoices and monitor department expenses
  • Direct staff in sanitation and sanitary food handling.
  • Ability to communicate and develop an effective working relationship with fellow employees and supervisors.
  • Implement and manage all company programs to ensure compliance with the SOP's including safety and sanitary regulation, all federal, state and local regulations to ensure optimal levels of quality service and hospitality are provided to the guest.
  • Manage the team members within the food and beverage department. Direct and oversee development of employees; hire, train, empower, coach and counsel, performance reviews, resolve conflict through fair treatment policy, discipline and terminate as appropriate.
  • Manage banquet staff in the completion of the assigned functions and set-up, serve and break-down functions in a safe, accident-free manner.
  • Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects in all food and beverage areas.
  • Through proper inventory control, ensures that food supplies and equipment are secure and inventoried on a regular basis.
  • Develops and implements creative strategies to increase revenues.
  • Implements new policies and sound operating procedures.
  • Trains and maintains a service/alcohol training program regularly.
