Food and Beverage Manager
Location: US - CA - Los Angeles
Expanding and dynamic hotel management company, has an excellent opportunity for a Food and Beverage Manager at one of our full service Hotel properties in the Los Angeles area. We are considering outgoing, up-beat, experienced candidates who may currently hold (or have held) an F&B Management position. We need a creative, self starter to manage daily operations of the Food & Beverage Department at the Hotel.
This position will report to directly to the General Manager.

Banquet, Restaurant, and/or Culinary operations experience is required, as well as excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications, customer service and financial analysis skills.
The ideal candidate would have:
o Previous kitchen and restaurant training experience
o A minimum of 3-5 years previous Food & Beverage experience
o Previous cost control and waste management experience
o Basic knowledge of front-of-house operations
o Extensive knowledge of back-of-house operations
o Excellent written & verbal communication, organizational and leadership skills
o Knowledge of Serv-Safe and HACCP implementation of critical control points
o Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
o Ability to interview, hire and train new personnel in accordance with hotel policies and standards
o Ability to foster and promote a cooperative and upbeat working climate
o Ability to create new and innovative menu items
o Previous menu planning experience
o Banquet and Catering experience
o Basic knowledge of wines
