The Lambertville Station Restaurant is currently seeking a dynamic and strong customer service focused Front of the House General Manager for our historic property located on the banks of the Delaware River half-way between New York City and Philadelphia. This 300 seat high volume independent restaurant is located adjacent to our newly renovated 45 room hotel and both of these successful properties have been in operation for over 30 years. The Manager must be passionate, self-motivated, outgoing and energetic individual who places a high value on exceeding guest's expectations. Our employees are our strength and we allow our staff at all levels the freedom to be creative and solve problems. Developing and retaining staff that provides a superior level of service is essential.
The Manager will be responsible for the restaurant's front of the house operations including maximizing the operational quality, financial performance an overseeing front of the house managers and their departments. The individual must have the ability to set priorities, organize and delegate. Strong communication skills and quick responsiveness are important.
Candidates should possess the following:
A minimum of 2 years experience as a front of house general manager
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Passion for the restaurant industry
Hire, train, schedule and manage staff
Develop and implement strategies for increase revenue
Inventory management
Posses strong organizational skills and detail oriented
