 SALES MANAGER

The Residence Inn By Marriott Atlanta Downtown, a leader in the hospitality industry,  is currently seeking a  Sales Manager to join and help lead their Sales Department.

In this important role, you will be responsible for managing the relationship of assigned accounts both nationally and locally.  In addition, you will  solicit  new and existing accounts with the intent of driving group business into the hotel.  The position works collaboratively with accounts and the hotel counterparts to ensure the account’s event has successful execution with the assurance of customer satisfaction. 

The seasoned professional we seek will  preferably have previous hotel and/or hotel sales experience.   Knowledge of the Atlanta area  preferred.  Must be  self-motivated, disciplined, have excellent communication, customer service skills and maintain organization.  Proficiency in basic office software including MS Word, Excel and Outlook required.
