Job Details
  • Provide guests information, access and support to all that New York City has to offer in a professional and gracious manner.
  • Offer a warm, sincere and personalized welcome to all guests and maintain and promote hospitality at all times.
  • Create special conversations with guests identifying personal preferences in order to record in each guest's profile history.
  • Have an in depth knowledge of directions, travel time, cost and various forms of transportation.
  • Demonstrate first hand knowledge of the recommendations with thorough research.
  • Maintain a consistent and sufficient level of brochures, maps and handouts.
  • Maintain a daily log of all guest requests, reservations and confirmations for guests.
  • Be knowledgeable of all in-house and arriving guests and aware of all daily events in the hotel.
  • Communicate all important and relevant details to management and colleagues.
  • Provide a daily list to the Chef Concierge and/or Guest Relations Manager of VIPs' transportation and reservations.
  • Respond to all guest needs and requests.
  • Previous luxury hotel Concierge experience preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast paced and team environment.
  • Able to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Member of Les Clefs d'or preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Fluency in French required; Portuguese a definite plus.
