COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Red Lion – Denver S.E. is recruiting a seasoned Director of Human Resources who is ready to be part of a growing organization with a dual branding strategy currently under way.  The property will be going through a full renovation resulting in our West tower being branded as a full service Radisson Hotel and the East tower will be converted to a Red Lion Inn and Suites.  This property, located near the Cherry Creek Reservoir, offers  478 guest rooms, 29 guest suites, a full dining room and bar as well as 25,000 square feet of meeting space.  This role is a critical driver behind a successful organization responsible for significant revenue.  The ideal candidate will be customer satisfaction driven with the ability to work in a high paced, continually changing environment. 

 

JOB OVERVIEW:

Responsible for the leadership of all aspects associated with the Banquet Department functions in accordance with Hotel standards. This role will direct, implement and maintain a service and management philosophy which serves as an example to all staff to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.

 

REPORTS TO: General Manager

 

SUPERVISES: Indirect support of all staff

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Functions:

1. Five years experience with progressive Human Resources experience most recently holding the role of Human Resources Manager/Generalist. 

2. Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.

3. Ability to guide management in accordance to Colorado employment laws.

4. Considerable knowledge of human resource policies, procedures and practices which includes the ability to thoroughly conduct employee relations investigations resulting in appropriate complaint resolution.

5. Ability to develop and enforce policies and procedures and educate associates regarding such policies and procedures.

6. Must be able to effectively communicate in all forums including verbal, written and presentation.

7. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

8. Ability to multi-task, follow through and re-prioritize well to meet deadlines.

9. May perform other duties as assigned.

 

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal: All associates and management personnel.

External: All guests to ensure an excellent experience while at the hotel.
