Job Description

The Hilton Santa Clara is seeking for Income Auditor to join our great team and enjoy all the benefits of our exciting hotel environment. Come be part of one of the finest Santa Clara Hotels in the Silicon Valley featuring 280 room Four Diamond hotel in the heart of Silicon Valley next to the San Francisco 49'ers New Stadium.

The income audit position is responsible for the verification and reporting of hotel revenues, the review of paperwork turned in to Accounting to document such revenues and the preparation and publication of a Daily Revenue report to be used internally by the Hotel Managers to review financial performance and to forecast future business levels.

Some of the job duties include:

1. Responsible for the auditing of all internal Hotel postings and revenue

2. Reconcile all charges and prepare the Daily Revenue Report and distribute accordingly

3. Maintain Computer Security

4. Maintain knowledge of Special Programs, Prices and Rates.

5. Handle and Process Disputed Charges.

6. Audit Banquet Checks.

7. Audit F & B Checks/Reports.

8. Adjust and Audit Front Desk Vouchers.

9. Adjust and Audit A/R Vouchers.

10. Verify Room Rate Postings.

11. Capture Telephone Revenue.

12. Capture Concession Report.

13. Capture Miscellaneous Hotel Charges.

14. Post city ledger payments in property management system reconcile

15. Respond to customer requests, inquiries, issues and problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service if necessary

Job Requirements

Looking for candidate with a High School diploma. Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school with focus in accounting; or 2 years accounts payable/cashier experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Ability to communicate verbally (including heavy telephone contact) with Guests, Vendors, management and co-workers.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have a working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets in Windows.

Must be able to type 30 wpm and have 10 key experience.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
