Our Parks and Destinations group specializes in serving consumers; recreational and entertainment needs in national and state parks, zoos, aquariums, science centers, museums and other day-use cultural attractions.

Responsibilities:

The Retail Manager oversees all retail aspects of five (5) retail stores through effective management of labor, sales and operations.  Duties include working with grocery vendors; ordering merchandise; and merchandising stores according to visual guidelines. 

Essential Functions:

• Manage all operational functions including budgets, forecasts, expenses and supplies. 
• Meet or improve upon budget in the following areas:  sales, labor, operating expenses, inventory shrinkage and margins. 
• Hire and train employees on Retail Pro, products and safety. 
• Drive incremental revenue initiatives for the department. 
• Work with vendors purchase items for multiple retail locations. 
• Ensure vouchering is done on a regular basis. 
• Handle all visual merchandising for multiple retail outlets.
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or other related field plus two to four years of experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills were acquired. 
• Retail Pro experience preferred
• Multi-store management preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite are required
