Currently we are looking for a top performing Sales Manager to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that will achieve revenue goals for our Hilton Garden Inn property in Reno, Nevada.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Sales Manager include:

* Develop and implement successful sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed the hotel's revenue plan.
*Actively solicit, negotiate, and secure new business to achieve revenue plan.
*Develop and manage the sales department budget.
*Monitor sales activities/performance to achieve revenue plan.
*Execute reports in an accurate, timely manner.
*Participate in weekly revenue maximization meetings

*Salary commensurate with experience, skills and knowledge.


Job Requirements:

Qualifications/Attributes
*Must have minimum of 2 years hotel sales experience with prior success in the corporate market.
*Possess strong leadership skills, strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, planning and organizational ability, and a "High Touch" customer service attitude.
*Able to define market segmentations and pricing strategies to maximize hotel revenue.
*Embrace a "Whatever It Takes Attitude"
*Hilton experience a plus.
