Requirements of the position include:

* Supervise the training of all Guest Service Agents, Supervisor(s), Night Audit, PBX, and Bell staff.

* Motivate Grand Performers to perform their jobs effectively

* Responsible for ensuring that the Front Office is in compliance with all systems, control policies and procedures

* Monitor and control payroll and scheduling and other expenses

* Develop and maintain open lines of communication within the department and with other departments within the hotel

* Resolve guest problems expediently and in a professional manner

* Ensure exceptional guest service is delivered at the front desk and guest services

* Conduct Front Office, Night Audit, and PBX Meetings

* Schedule staff to reflect daily occupancy and make sure schedule is concurrent with the arrival and departure pattern

* Direct the efforts of the Supervisor(s), PBX Operators, Night Auditors, and Guest Service Agents, & Bell staff

* Attend hotel meetings

* Handle disciplinary actions, coaching and counseling sessions and related personnel issues

* Assist other departments as needed

* Will perform additional duties as assigned

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

 

* 5+ of management experience in Front Office, Guest Services, or Reservations

* Experience in Four or Five Diamond hotel preferred but not required

* Advanced knowledge of Opera and MARSHA computer systems, including the ability to solve system related problems

* Ability to work flexible schedule (weekends/ holidays)
