The Director of Spa oversees the day to day operations of the Spa, Salon, and Fitness Services.

Primary Duties --
*Develop and implement treatments, fitness, and wellness programs.
*Develop and administer destination Spa Package Programs.
*Responsible for purchasing supplies and equipment.
*Select and train supervisory employees.
*Formulate annual operating budget and Capital budgets: Control expenditures, achieve revenues.
*Maintain Spa facility and Equipment
*Supervise, staff, and train employees. Supervise: Assistant Spa Director; Salon Manager; Fitness; Therapists, Aestheticians and Locker Rooms Attendants.
*Develop training/procedural manuals for employee: Conduct orientation meetings and other staff development activities.
*Develop and implement marketing and promotional program for Spa services: insure smooth guest Relations: assist with public relations and marketing efforts to groups.
*Conduct exercise classes and professional trains as needed.
*Comply with all FISHER ISLAND CLUB standards (i.e., grooming, conduct policies and procedures).

QUALIFICATIONS
-Knowledge of body and skincare treatment modalities;
-Public relations; exercise science; management and communication skills;
-Four-year college degree in Business Management or related field;
-5 - 10 years experience management in a spa or related field preferably as a director
-Desire to provide phenomenal Guest experiences;
-Must possess outstanding guest service skills, professional presentation and excellent verbal
and written communication skills;
-Must be guest/member oriented, have a vibrant personality, and enthusiasm to assist people;
-Proficient in English language (verbal and written) with a second or third language as an asset;
-Licenses in Massage Therapy and/ or Aesthetics/ Cosmetology preferred
-Computer literacy
