Mission Point Resort is a magnificent, historic resort property on beautiful Mackinac Island in northern Michigan. With expansive landscaped grounds, four restaurants, a vibrant activities schedule, and 38,000 square feet of event and conference space, Mission Point Resort offers a true resort experience. Mission Point is also a favorite wedding event destination in the region.

Mission Point Resort is currently searching for Seasonal Restaurant Managers for our dining outlets. Our restaurants include Chianti, a fine dining restaurant serving northern Italian cuisine; Bistro on the Greens, an outdoor bistro on our golf course serving eclectic American cuisine with continental influences; Round Island Bar & Grill, a casual bar & grill serving northern Michigan influenced classic American bar & grill cuisine; and Lakeside Marketplace, a grab & go coffee and sandwich shop.

Candidates must have a passionate dedication to excellent guest service.  Candidates must have restaurant experience and be flexible with availability to work any shifts, must be great team players and must be dedicated to doing what it takes to get the job done. The role requires very good communication skills as this position requires continuous interaction with hotel guests and staff.  Responsibilities include hands on, on-the-floor management to ensure consistently high quality of service; training and scheduling of staff; handling of guest issues as they arise; and compliance with all health and safety regulations. The role may be required to perform other duties as assigned by management. Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations, health department regulations, and TIPS certification is helpful.

These are seasonal positions.

*Must be extremely guest-focused and have a passion for service.

*Must be very hands on and enjoy talking to customers and offering wine suggestions and upselling menu items.

*Must be detail oriented.

*Experience is preferred. 

*Knowledge of Micros is preferred.

*Some culinary knowledge is preferred.

*Must have ability to work 50+ hours/week, including weekends.
